Description

This is a picture that I worked on and off on for a long time. I eventually just gave in and posted it because it was taking me way too long. It has some anatomy problems (eyes too high, thumb of her left hand on the wrong side, etc.) but I still like her overall design, as well as the way her scarf and hair turned out. In the future, maybe I'll fix up those anatomy problems :3

It's great that you recognise yourself that there are areas in need of improvement. Keep working on them and you'll just get better and better

Nice as usual! BUT: You shouldn't croop her right under her dress! It doesn't look right. Adding just a few cm of legs would improve a lot.

LobsterHead: Thanks! I'm honestly my worst critic at most times, and I tend to notice flaws in my own work quite soon after I consider them completed. I'm glad I do, though, it's useful!

SandraS: Haha, I know! I totally agree with you. I was going to give her legs in this picture originally, but for some reason when I tried to do her legs they just refused to look right even though I seriously was drawing and redrawing them a million times. I tried doing even, as you said, just a little bit of leg but I just couldn't get them to look right no matter what I did. And I have no idea why. I don't normally have trouble with legs or anything. Like I said, strange.
