Description

Something a bit different from my usual, I think. Yes, it's Little Red Riding Hood. Yes, I realise her hood is more like... maroon than red. I just liked it better that way.

This was going to be the cover for a short comic I was supposed to do for one of my classes. I was going to do an alternate version of the classic Red Riding Hood story where Grandma is evil, the wolves are good, and Red ends up killing Grandma (thus the knife) blah blah blah, which is probably not that original of a concept... but hey, the teacher didn't exactly give us much time

So yeah, I never finished the comic on time... or even the coverpage. But I liked what I had enough to at least keep working on the image.

I've decided her name is Elise.

I don't like the arm/hand that's holding the basket, the basket/cookies/lace in the basket/, her face is a little more anime-ish than I intended, and the background is pretty half-assed (I may add more to the background in the future, but this is all I could think of for now.) but I'm fairly pleased with the overall image. And I'm way more proud of the knife, the moon, and all that lace than I probably should be.
